Welcome Indiana Jones!
Indy for short. Indy is about 11 pounds and was born 1/4/2024. He was surrendered to us because he was sometimes getting wobbly on his front leg. He was immediately sent with a foster who has delt with puppies with similar issues. He has also seen a specialist which diagnosed him with a very mild case of carpal hyper-flexion. We have been told he will totally grow out of the condition and to just let him be a puppy. After a month and a half in his foster home he has already improved greatly and is walking and running really well. You can't tell he had an issue as a baby. Indy is a very playful and adventurous little guy. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home big or small. He seems to have no knowledge of his size. Indy must go to a home with another dog so he learns good socialization and has a buddy to play with. So if you are interested in this sweet and playful little explorer his adoption fee is $600. Welcome Bunnie or as her foster mom likes to call her, Miss BunBun!
This tiny girl is 2-3 years old and weighs 14lbs. Her coat is what's called silver which is a darkish brown/black with a tiny bit of fawn underneath. Bunnie is a former breeder and so she's a little shy with people but loves other dogs and has warmed up to her foster mom quickly. Bunnie is a sweet girl and has the funniest little howl! We are working on housetraining and crate training and it's a work in progress. She does have an old eye injury in one of her eyes and has minimal sight out of it, but it doesn't bother her one bit! Bunnie loves other dogs, so she will need a home with another playful dog. We will not place her in a home that does not have another dog. Welcome Silver!
This handsome blue boy is 2 years old and weighs 17lbs. He's a sweet boy with a lot of energy and he's very curious! Silver is a former breeder, so he will need a little guidance on how to be a pet. He gets along with other dogs and is used to being around them, so will need another doggy companion in his new home. He does do best with females or non-dominant males. Welcome Mitzi!
Check out this pretty girl's gorgeous baby blues! Mitzi is a little sweetheart at 8 years old and 23lbs. She's good on a leash and while we can't guarantee any dog to be fully housebroken, she seems to know to do her business outside. Mitzi gets along with other dogs and she came in with Higgins so would love to be adopted with him, but that's not required. She's a little cuddle bug too! Welcome Higgins!
This big guy is 10 years old and weighs 29lbs. Higgins is such a good boy and a lover! We can never promise any dog to be fully housebroken, but he does well going outside. He's good on a leash and gets along well with other dogs too. Higgins just wants to be right by his people. Higgins came into rescue with Mitzi and would love to be adopted with her, but that is not required. He does have a low grade heart murmur that he takes daily medicine for.
