Become a Foster
We are always in need of foster homes. If you want to become a foster, please complete this FOSTER APPLICATION. As a foster, please understand our dogs will need routine and training. Many dogs come to us without any training, including potty training. We need patient people who are willing to show our dogs the ropes with kindness and love. We are in especially great need of fosters willing to take senior dogs. Many seniors need extra loving care and spend a long time in foster care before finding their forever home.
Transportation
Our dogs come from all over Oklahoma and sometimes surrounding states. There is a great need for people willing to help transport our dogs at least part of the way to their final destination. Providing transportation can sometimes be done on weekends but often needs someone who is available during the day on weekdays. Let us know if you have some time to spare and would enjoy having a furry copilot now and then.
Adoption Events
We have Adoption Events in Tulsa and the Oklahoma City area. We are also looking for fun, outgoing people who will bring traffic to our booth during an event. Most people will ask about a particular dog, who we are, and what we do.
Please know that all volunteer positions are unpaid volunteer opportunities. None of our organization's members get paid for what they do for our Rescue, including our President, Secretary, Adoption Coordinator, and Communications Director. All of them are volunteers, and most have full-time jobs outside the Rescue.
